This Privacy Policy describes how StreamTV Media GmbH and its affiliates ("OWN3D", "we", "us", or "our") collect, use, and disclose information when you use our website, applications, services, or attend our live (in-person) events provided, owned, or operated by OWN3D ("OWN3D Services"). By accessing or using any OWN3D Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Collection and Types of User Data
When you use our services, we may access, collect, store, and otherwise use certain information. This information includes, but is not limited to:
- Streaming Platform Account Information: This includes your username, live streams, and profile details from the connected Streaming Platforms (e.g., Twitch, YouTube).
- Streaming Platform Live Chat: This includes chat messages and chat viewer usernames from the live chats associated with your streams.
- Streaming Platform Viewer Interactions: This includes interactions such as follows, subscribes, re-subscribes, donations, cheers, raids, and hosts from the Streaming Platforms.
How We Use Your Information
OWN3D uses the collected user data to provide you with the services you interact with on our platform. This may include generating overlays, alerts, analytics, and other tools that enhance your live streaming experience. The data is processed to deliver a seamless and personalized experience tailored to your preferences.
We also use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and improve OWN3D Services.
- To process your transactions and provide customer support.
- To communicate with you, including responding to your inquiries and sending you important updates and promotional messages.
- To personalize your experience and tailor content and advertisements to your interests.
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms of service.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your information with third parties under the following circumstances:
- With service providers who assist us in operating OWN3D Services or provide services on our behalf, such as payment processors, hosting providers, and marketing partners.

Third-Party Services and Websites
The OWN3D Services may link to third-party websites or services. The privacy practices of those third parties are not governed by this Privacy Policy.
If you are connected to a third party service (such as Discord, Twitch, or YouTube), through the OWN3D Services or otherwise link your OWN3D account with a third-party service, you are requesting and authorizing us to share or grant access to information on your behalf, please be aware of the privacy practices of that third party.
Cookies
Extensions and Applications
The OWN3D Extensions program allows streamers to embed interactive, custom, third-party content and applications.
Users can find more about extensions in our Extension Store.
OWN3D does not provide access to your username or ID to third parties, only sharing data with third parties if you click “Authorize” within the OAuth Authorization Flow.
Developers may also create Applications that are not located on OWN3D. We require Extension and Application developers to process data about you only for the purposes set forth in our Developer Services Agreement. We encourage you to visit an Application’s website or Extension’s detail page to review any privacy policy posted by the developer, which may include additional information on their privacy practices.
Data Sharing with YouTube
To use OWN3D Services as a YouTube streamer, access to the YouTube API is required. With this Terms of Use you irrevocably agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. The YouTube Terms of Service can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms. Simultaneously, you also agree to YouTube's Privacy Policy. We are also using authorized data from YouTube. If you want to delete authorized data you can revoke our API client access via the Google security settings page athere: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions
OWN3D use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data Sharing with OpenAI
We value your privacy and transparency regarding the data we collect and share for the operation of our Streaming Assistant. When you choose to use our Streaming Assistant service, you consent to the sharing of specific data with OpenAI for the enhancement and functionality of our AI-powered features.
Data Shared:
- Message (User Generated Content): Your messages and interactions with our Streaming Assistant are shared with OpenAI for the purpose of generating responses.
- OWN3D User ID: Your OWN3D User ID is shared with OpenAI as an End-user ID. This allows OpenAI to monitor and detect abuse, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all users.
Please note that this data sharing arrangement with OpenAI is entirely optional and applies only when using our Streaming Assistant service. We do not share your data with OpenAI for any other purpose, and OpenAI does not use your content to train their models.
We encourage you to review OpenAI's Privacy Policy, which may include additional information on their privacy practices.
Your Choices
You can choose not to provide certain information to us, but this may limit your ability to use certain features of OWN3D Services. You can also opt-out of receiving promotional communications from us by following the instructions provided in the messages or by contacting us directly.
You have the ability to manage your data associated with OWN3D. To delete your data, you can email support@own3d.tv. Additionally, you can control access to your data from Streaming Platforms by adjusting the security settings and connections page on each platform:
- Twitch: Visit permissions at https://www.twitch.tv/settings/connections
- Google: Visit https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions
- TikTok: Go to Profile > 3-line icon > Security and login > Manage app permissions
- Discord: Navigate to User Settings > Authorized Apps
Data Security
User data collected by OWN3D is securely stored on our servers. We have partnered with Hetzner Online GmbH as our server provider, and the majority of our servers are located in Finland, an EU member state that adheres to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We have implemented industry-standard security measures to safeguard your data against unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
User Rights and GDPR
Under the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you, as a data subject, have certain rights concerning your personal data. These rights include:
- Access to Information (Art. 15 GDPR): You have the right to request information about the data we have stored about you, including details of the processing and a copy of your data.
